BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 84-year old Richard L. "Dick" Humeston of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Saturday, March 17th at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 7th and Arden Streets, in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa. Full Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.
Visitation will be held at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home at 5th and Story Streets in Boone, Friday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation Saturday will be held at the First United Methodist Church from 8:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be given tot he First United Methodist Church, the Israel Family Hospice House or the Boone Area Humane Society, in memory of Richard L. "Dick" Humeston.

Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery located west of Boone, Iowa.
