BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 83-year old John Adams of northern Boone County, Iowa. The service will be held Saturday, January 7th at 1:00 PM at the Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Mineral Ridge Cemetery near Ridgeport, Iowa. Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Friday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation continues Saturday at the funeral chapel from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Visitation will then continue at the Augustana Lutheran Church from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
Memorials may be directed to the Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone.
The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
