BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 97-year old David H. Goeppinger of Calvin Community in Des Moines, Iowa and formerly of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Saturday, June 18th at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church at 712 12th Street in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa. Full Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone, Saturday from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Church at that time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone, the Good Samaritan Fund of Calvin Community in Des Moines or to Mercy Hospice of Mercy Medical Center, also in Des Moines.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 11th at 10:30 AM at the Bass Point Cemetery located north of Boone, Iowa. Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council. Burial will follow the Graveside Service.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Visitation will continue Saturday at the Funeral Chapel from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be directed to the Boone Area Humane Society.
