BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 73-year old Melvin Walters of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, April 20th at 1:00 PM at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held at the Pilot Mound Cemetery in Pilot Mound, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Visitation continues Friday at the Funeral Chapel from 8:00 AM until the time of the service Friday at 1:00 PM.

Memorials may be given in memory of Melvin and may be directed to the family to be used at their discretion.

The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 88-year old Hanley F. Jenkins, M.D., of West Des Moines, Iowa.  The service will be held Tuesday, April 17th at 11:00 AM at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Iowa.  Internment will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery, located west of Boone, Iowa.  Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Chapel at that time until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.

Memorials may be directed to the family, for contribution to further the education of the Surgery Residents at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

OGDEN, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 92-year old Bertha E. Schmidt of Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa and  formerly of Ogden, Iowa.  The Service will be held Tuesday, April 17th at 10:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John's Catholic Church in Ogden, Iowa.  Burial will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Ogden, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden, Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  There will be a prayer service at the Funeral Home Monday at 6:30 PM.

Memorials may be directed to either: St. John's Catholic Church in Ogden or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boone.

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 86-year old Don Earl Riemenschneider of Boone, Iowa.  Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 14th at 10:00 AM at the Boone Open Bible Church at 1224 Hancock Drive, Boone, Iowa.  Inurnment will be held at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa following the service.

Visitation will be held at the Boone Open Bible Church, Friday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Church at that time.

Visitation continues Saturday at the Boone Open Bible Church from 8:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM.

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 66-year old John D. Johnson of Boone, Iowa.  A family graveside service will be held at the South Marion Cemetery north of Boone on County Road R27, Wednesday, April 11th at 5:00 PM.

The family will welcome visitors at the Johnson's home Thursday, April 12th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
