BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 92-year old Carl Eric Thorngren of Boone, Iowa. Carl passed away at home last Saturday. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 30th at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Free Church in Boone, Iowa. Internment will be held at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa. Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Chapel at that time. Visitation will continue Wednesday at the Evangelical Free Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Evangelical Free Church in Boone. The Stark-Welin Funeral Directors of Boone are in charge of these arrangements.
