BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 97-year old Kenneth Granville Purtell of Westhaven Community in Boone, Iowa and previously from Brownfield, Texas. The service will be held Thursday, March 8th at 10:00 AM at the Brownfield First United Methodist Church in Brownfield, Texas. Interment will be held at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield, Texas.
There will be family visitation Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home in Brownfield, Texas.
Those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their gift to the American Heart Association or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
