BOONE, Iowa---Funeral arrangements have been set for 83-year old Clyde "Bud" McCormick of Boone, Iowa and formerly of Ogden, Iowa. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 2nd at 10:00 AM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Cemetery in Rembrandt, Iowa.
His body has been cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will follow the Graveside Service.
There will be no visitation or calling hours.
Memorials may be directed to the Boone County Health Care Foundation.

BOONE, Iowa---Boone Mayor John Slight says he was not supportive of the City Council's decision to grant an extension for a nuisance abatement for property at 801 Jefferson Street. Slight noted that neighbors approached the council requesting action and action was taken. He says the property owner had been dealt with before for similar issues and he felt an extension was not appropriate. Slight says nuisance complaints are among the highest of all complaints received from citizens.
