BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 95-year old Ralph Ely of Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Friday, June 18th at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Peoples Cemetery located northwest of Woodward, Iowa. Full Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.
Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present at the Chapel at that time and will greet friends.
Visitation Friday will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church from 8:30 AM until the time of the service at 10:00.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their gift to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
The Stark-Welin Funeral Directors of Boone are in charge of these arrangements.
