Donald 'Don' Lonergan

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 90-year old Donald 'Don' Lonergan of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Thursday, September 30th at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Boone, Iowa. Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a Vigil Service at the Funeral Chapel, Wednesday at 7:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Visitation Thursday will be held at the Funeral Chapel from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM.

Memorials may be directed to the family and will be used at their discretion.

The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.

David H. Buttrick, Jr.

BOONE, Iowa---Funeral arrangements have been set for 84-year old David H. Buttrick, Jr of Boone, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 30th at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Free Church in Boone, Iowa. David's request was to be cremated.

No visitation is scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their gift to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.

The service will be held Tuesday, September 28th at 10:30 AM at the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden, Iowa. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday afternoon, September 26th at 2:30 PM at the Eastern Star Masonic Home Chapel in Boone, Iowa. At her request, her body was cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa at a later date.

No visitation is scheduled.

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 82-year old Harry F. Echternach of Whittier, California and formerly of Boone, Iowa. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 25th at 10:00 AM at the Sparks Cemetery southwest of Boone, Iowa. The body has been cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will follow the Graveside Service. Military Honors will be conducted graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.

No visitation is scheduled.

BOONE, Iowa---Funeral arrangements have been set for 71-year old Clair Emmett Walter of Boone, Iowa. At his request, his body was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 21st at 1:00 PM at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home at 5th and Story Streets in Boone, Iowa. Following the Memorial Service, Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council at the Veterans Monument and U.S Flag Pole at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home, Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.

A second Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church in Villisca, Iowa for family members and friends in that area.

Burial will be held at the Bluff Creek Cemetery in northwest Boone County at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the family and will be used at their discretion.

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 51-year old William G. McBride of Boone, Iowa. William McBride passed away in Scottsbluff, Nebraska Friday, September 10th, 2010. The service will be held Thursday, September 16th at 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Chapel at that time.

Visitation Thursday will continue with a closed casket at Grace Episcopal Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.

The service will be held Wednesday, September 15th at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa. Following the service, his body will be cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Visitation will then continue at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a Vigil Service at the Church Tuesday at 7:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Church, Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Following the service Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council at the Veterans Monument in the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.
