Clair Emmett Walter

BOONE, Iowa---Funeral arrangements have been set for 71-year old Clair Emmett Walter of Boone, Iowa. At his request, his body was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 21st at 1:00 PM at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home at 5th and Story Streets in Boone, Iowa. Following the Memorial Service, Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council at the Veterans Monument and U.S Flag Pole at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home, Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.

A second Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church in Villisca, Iowa for family members and friends in that area.

Burial will be held at the Bluff Creek Cemetery in northwest Boone County at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the family and will be used at their discretion.
