Edward 'Bud' Wirth

AMES, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 95-year old Edward 'Bud' Wirth of Ames, Iowa and formerly of northwest Story County.  The service will be held Thursday, June 7th at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames, Iowa.  Burial will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery located northwest of Gilbert.

Visitation will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames, Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  There will be a Vigil Service at the church Wednesday at 7:00 PM.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the church, Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Visitation continues Thursday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM.

In memory of Bud, memorials may be directed to the family to be used at their discretion.

The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
