Nyla Ruth Sturtz

BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 88-year old Nyla Ruth Sturtz of Winterset, Iowa and formerly of Boone and Truro, Iowa.  The service will be held Tuesday, June 19th at 11:00 AM at the Van Meter, United Methodist Church at 100 Hazel Street, Van Meter, Iowa.  Burial will be held at the Linwoood Park Cemetery, Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home at 5th and Story Streets in Boone, Monday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Home at that time.

Visitation Tuesday will be held at the Van Meter United Methodist Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Church at that time.

In memory of Nyla, a memorial has been established for the Van Meter United Methodist Church in Van Meter.
