BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 71-year old David Eugene Bahr of Boone, Iowa and formerly of Derby, Kansas and Ames, Story City and Clarion, Iowa. The service will be held Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00 AM at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Iowa. Following the funeral service, in accordance with David's wishes, his body will be cremated. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone, Saturday from 8:30 AM until the time of the service. The family will be present at that time to receive friends.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their gift to the family
The Stark-Welin Funeral Directors of Boone are in charge of these arrangements.
