BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 91-year old Melba McDermott of Omaha, Nebraska and formerly of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Thursday, April 7th at 1:00 PM with a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.
Visitation will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Thursday 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
Memorials may be directed to the Nebraskans United for Life.
The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
