BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 93-year old Ernest "Ernie" E. Behn of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Tuesday, May 18th at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 712 12th Street, Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Squire-Boone Cemetery located southeast of Boone, Iowa. Full Military Honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Boone Veterans Council.
Visitation will be held at the Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home at 5th and Story Streets in Boone, Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation continues Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Visitation will then continue at Trinity Lutheran Church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for Trinity Lutheran Church in Memory of Ernest "Ernie" E. Behn.
The Walter~Schroeder Funeral Home at 5th and Story Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
