BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 79-year old Helen Rather of Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Friday, May 14th at 11:00 AM at the First Untied Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa. Following the service, her body will be cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Thursday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation will continue Friday at the First United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
Memorials may be directed to the family and will be used at their discretion.
The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
