BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 85-year old Ilah Long of Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa. The service will be held Tuesday, May 25th at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa. Burial will be held at the Mineral Ridge Cemetery near Ridgeport, Iowa.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Monday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a Vigil Service at the Funeral Chapel, Monday at 7:00 PM. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation Tuesday will be held at the Funeral Chapel from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
Memorials may be directed to the family and will be used for improvements to the Long Memorial Park located north of Boone.
The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
